why should we blog?
us kids at hawkesdale p-12 collage love to blog and this is why!!!
1.it is a great why to do work and have fun at the same time
2.we can do global projects threw blogs
3.a good way to talk to people all over the world
4. you can put heaps of cool stuff on your blogs
5. we can take them home for work and show our parents
6.a good way for our parents to see what we do in IT
so remeber we sould blog at our school it is so fun never stop bloging!!!!!!!

THE SECRET GARDEN
we have been watching a movie lately called the Secret Garden and now we have to make a movie review it is going to be really fun!

FAIR TRADE
From the 3rd of May, and for two weeks after that, Oxfam is having a Fairtrade fortnight. This fortnight has been designed to alert people to the work of Fairtrade and to gather support for the cause. The following are some dot points of my understandings of Fairtrade.
. Fair Trade is operating in poor countries.
.You can buy Fairtrade coffee, tea and chocolate in many outlets now.
.Some farmers who were producing coffee were only getting 1 cent in every dollar of coffee sold. For example, from a $3 cup of coffee, some farmers were getting 3c
.The Fairtrade tea and coffee is of great quality
.If Fair trade buys the coffee beans, the farmers get a fair price for their produce.
.If you buy anything with the Fair Trade logo you will know the farmers were now paid a fair price
so next time you buy something from Fair Trade you will be happy(:

PERSONAL PRONOUN - a word which indicates personal onwership eg she, he, they, we, them, their, we,
CONJUNCTION- A word that joins 2 ideas together in a sentence. eg. and, then, so, but. One conjunction, one fullstop. A sentence must only contain one conjunction.
PREPOSITION - A word which indicates the “position” of something, compared to something else eg. the frog in the pond, the turtle under the rocks

maths/Science
HEAT TRNSFER
this week in Science we done an awesome prak we tried to see if we could make a burn proof balloon we did we filled it half with water and half with air it turned black with the candle but other than that it was burn proof
CHEKERBOARD CHALLANGE
in maths recently we have been doing a checkerboard challange were we had to write how many checker board sqaures of all sizes it was really hard:) to get all the info on this challange got to my link of bexta in blogroll
